Simulates the structure of thiodimethylglycine in natural seaweed, strongly stimulating fish olfaction and gustation, making bait easier for fish to detect and bite.
Experiments show that bait with DMPT can increase hook-up rate by 20%-40% (especially effective for sluggish or inactive fish).

Application Methods of DMPT in Fishing

(1) Direct Addition to Bait

Recommended Dosage:

 

• Powdered Bait: 0.05%-0.2% (i.e., 0.5-2 g DMPT per 1 kg bait).
• Pellet Bait/Base Bait: 0.1%-0.3% (1-3 g/kg).

 

Suitable Baits:

 

• Commercial baits (e.g., brands like Laogui, Huashi).
• Homemade baits (cornmeal, wheat bran, soybean meal, etc.).

(2) Soaking in Alcoholized Grains/Base Bait

Recipe:
1 kg millet/corn grits + 100 ml rice wine + 0.5-1 g DMPT + a small amount of honey.

 

Effect:
Enhances the bait's fish-attracting ability and keeps fish lingering longer.

(3) Dipping Bait/Additive

Dissolve DMPT in a small amount of water, then dip or smear it onto fishing baits (e.g., earthworms, red mealworms) during fishing to strengthen attraction.
