1.Anti - stress
Heat stress alleviation: During high temperatures, the number of free radicals in chickens increases. As a powerful antioxidant, vitamin C can neutralize free radicals, reduce oxidative damage, and decrease mortality.
Transportation / flock transfer stress: Supplementing vitamin C (100 - 200 mg/kg of feed or drinking water) can reduce the secretion of adrenal cortical hormones and stabilize the physiological state.
2.Enhance immunity
It promotes the proliferation of white blood cells (especially lymphocytes), improves the response to vaccines, and reduces the risk of viral infections such as Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis.
3.Improve production performance
Broilers: It improves feed conversion rate and promotes weight gain, especially under stress conditions.
Laying hens: It reduces the number of cracked and soft - shelled eggs and prolongs the peak egg - laying period (by participating in collagen synthesis to strengthen the eggshell matrix).
4.Detoxification and hematopoiesis
It assists the liver in detoxification (such as mycotoxins), promotes iron absorption, and prevents anemia.

Feed addition rates:

 

• Fish/shrimp: 100-500 mg VC/kg feed (i.e., 0.01%-0.05%).
• Anti-stress (e.g., transportation, water change): Short-term increase to 1,000-2,000 mg VC/kg.

 

Tablet direct feeding: Calculate based on water volume and animal body weight, typically at 0.5-2 mg VC/L water or 50-200 mg/kg body weight/day.
